To celebrate our new company name and help put food on the table during these challenging times, we’ve decided to launch a lockdown referral offer!

Blakes Of Sydney Is Rebranding

You voted, we listened. Blakes Of Sydney is rebranding to IMPROVA. Thank you to everyone that took the time to help us reach this decision.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
IMPROVA is a derivative of the word Ompröva, which is the Swedish word for Rethink. After years of working in the renovation game and hearing horror story after horror story, Blake rethought the way to renovate and came up with a unique model that makes renovating effortless.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
IMPROVA looks like the word Improve, which is what Renovating is all about, and by pronouncing it IM-PRO-VA, we are emphasizing that we are pro’s in what we do.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
As much as Blake has secretly loved seeing his name on every email, paperwork and signage, it was time to let it go and embark on a bigger and bolder new chapter for his expanding company.

We implemented this by creating a large buffet benchtop, moving appliances and adding more usable storage space. This @caesarstoneau benchtop in Rugged Concrete becomes the finishing touch of this sleek kitchen.

Our clients in Alexandria engaged our services to renovate their three bedroom terrace house. Our goal was to create an open plan space with more natural light in the space. We created a galley style kitchen that directs your view to the light filled lounge and backyard. This timeless modern scheme is embodied through the white herringbone splashback, navy blue cabinetry and gold tapware.

INSIDER TIP: If you love the look of a freestanding bath but don’t have the space to allocate the minimum clearance, opt for a back to wall freestanding bath. They give the illusion of a spacious feel without taking up as much floor space as a standard freestanding bath. They’re also easier to clean!
