We collaborated with Architect, Squillace, and the building team on Oceania, Manly’s most exclusive new address. This prestigious development features an exclusive collection of only seven oceanfront, penthouse-style residences where rare beauty and timeless prestige unite.
Featuring expansive indoor and outdoor living spaces, refined minimal design, and awe-inspiring ocean views, these residences are a commitment to luxury in every detail. Every design choice breathes luxury down to the detail, from the soft curves and free-flowing balconies to the highly considered fixtures and finishes. Oceania embodies the essence of Manly and has become an icon within the landscape.
The project teams were struggling to find a joinery supplier capable of bringing this vision to life based on the magnitude of the project, the high-end design and materials required, and demanding timelines. They turned to Improva to find, engage, and oversee the joinery company for this exceptional development.
We managed the joinery throughout the project, working collaboratively with the builder and Squillace Architects to ensure timelines and intricate details were met. The joinery work showcases extraordinary craftsmanship with high-end finishes throughout, featuring colour-matched and vein-matched veneers, handmade built-up shaker profiles with unique underside rebated handles, rattan features, curved elements, Axolotl metal detailing, venetian plaster, and stone feature cladding.
Stone benchtops and splashbacks by Artedomus feature Mansueto and Quaresto, known for its natural beauty and striking unique one-of-a-kind veins. Every element was executed with pure attention to detail befitting this landmark development.
Oceania stands as a one-of-a-kind masterpiece that redefines waterfront luxury living in Manly. The project delivered a smooth process with an epic result, creating exceptional yield for the developer and builder. These residences represent a lifestyle that transcends luxury, offering owners a truly special oceanfront experience that is simply beyond compare.
This coastal residence achieves a refined material harmony through its thoughtful layering of textures—from white-ribbed timber and rough render to travertine paving and Blackbutt joinery—creating a tactile interplay between robust exterior elements and the warmth of oak, terrazzo, and natural stone within.
A rich natural timber kitchen and living space with black stone island benchtop contrasts with exposed concrete throughout this light-filled, open-plan home, creating an industrial modern aesthetic within expansive, refined, and highly architectural living spaces.
